It's getting close to that time. Picking up from paint shop tomorrow and just need to do carpeting and last checks before SVA.
Q is and it was soooooo long ago that I picked everything up, I've forgotten how to go about registering. Bear in mind that I am registering as a new build rather than on a Q plate.
Should I do the registering and booking the SVA at the same time or not?
I also need to find the documents that you gave me when I picked the chassis up from you way back when...

Oops - should have looked at the comprehensive instructions on your site. Comprehensive for use of a donor vehicle, but what about from new? Is it the SVA1 form (application for minister's approval certificate) or the voluntary SVA form? Two came up when I did a search. I guess it's the first one. However, further question, think I need the V55/4 for registering as new - do I need the V627/1. Also, you state to send the V5 off - I don't have one however with not having a donor vehicle.

Hi Steve
Apply for the the SVA as normal. Registration is completely separate. You cannot apply for registration until you have passed the SVA. You would not get a Q plate on one of our cars.
Give me or Jon a ring and we will go through it with you.
